Do you worship Jesus?
That's the point of the magi visit. Not the star or the gifts. They traveled all that distance to worship a child.
Do you give to Jesus?
Opening their treasures, they gave.
What if we gave to Jesus at Christmas as much as we give to each family member?
Do you compete with his kingship?
Or do you fall at his feet?
Do you doubt the good intent of his kingship?
He's a shepherd...not like earthly kings.
Do you realize that you are living in his kingdom now?
The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Do you know that his realm encompasses the whole world?
They came from the east, from far away.
Do you know the last place in Matthew where he talks about him being king?
On the cross...Ch. 27.
