King of Kings
We're celebrating the birth of Jesus this season. We remember him as the child in the manger, a very delicate baby, persecuted by their government.
The problem, though, is we're stuck with that vision and picture of Jesus. The reality is, Jesus today is a mighty King seated on the throne. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He will soon return as a mighty warrior.
He is no longer a small baby that we should cuddle. He is the King that we should worship. He is the warrior that we can depend on. He is the Lord that we should follow.
