O. Earnestly is not in the original KJV but seems that it fits with the rest of the passage. I like the word vigilant also in the fact that it makes it seem as if the reader is in a battle. The main point behind to passage is to give the necessary components of prayer. 1) Continuously 2) Praise 3) to remember others. This does not seem to compare to the prayer that our lord taught us to pray.
A. Prayer constantly and specifically
P. Lord, let your spirit overcome me and allow me the words that you wish to hear. Use me to be an example of the praying servant that you wish me to be for my son.
