Why Do We Do That?
Have you ever noticed that when it comes to judgmental people, Christians are usually the worst? Why do we do that? We are standing in the postion of one who has been shown our true disposition toward sin; namely we are born to it and do it with a passion as though our lives depended on it! Christ comes along, we see what we are really doing and the true condemnation of it and through His grace, we are forgiven! If we were too keep that memory of where we came from in front of us, we should never forget the grace that brought us out; instead, we tend to be so proud of having gotten out of whatever we were doing before, we hold the sins of others against them; totally forgetting our own past! Makes me wonder if maybe we are doing more to purchase a "ticket to Heaven", or out of Hell, rather than beginning a relationship with Jesus! Why do we do that?!
