Consecrated Means "Set Apart for The Lord Himself"
Whenever God begins to do something in a routine - he is creating a norm to be followed. Whenever he pulls away from the routine and deems something "holy" - he is consecrating something and making it wholly his.
God created and made the earth for 6 days. He did it day after day. Then he, on the seventh day, "made it holy" - because instead of work - he chose to rest - to set apart an action from the norms he created.
Father, thank you for setting me apart to be wholly yours. Teach me about holiness so that I might be marked as a holy man who can mark a generation with holiness.
Holiness isn't merely all the things that you don't do - its knowing you are set apart for the Lord - you are putting your attention on the Lord instead of something that will deviate from him.
