Keepers and Helpers

In Genesis 2: 18, God makes Eve to be a helper of her soon-to-be husband, Adam. It is interesting that when God made Adam - he gave him a work to steward and when he made Eve, he gave her a relationship to help. His role - steward all that God made, including Eve. Her role - be a helper to all that Adam must do.

In my marriage, I need to become a keeper in my heart - a chosen man entrusted with God's masterpiece. I am there to guard, protect, manage, steward, and invest wisely this entrustment.

Amy is to be my helper and I am to be her keeper.
