Wariness

I wonder if this is how some people view some Christians today. I know that there are many who look down on Christians and I believe that could be due, at least in part, to the less-than-admirable behavior by some "Christians".

It is understandable for people to be wary of something they aren't part of, I suppose. But shouldn't our actions and character be admirable? Isn't that what breaks through the wariness?
