After God cast Adam and Eve out of the garden, the whole human race was wrapped in evil (Genesis 6:5-22). They thought it, spoke of it, acted on it and even dreamed it. This made God sorry he even created man and He was going to make a clean sweep of the earth, eliminating every breathing thing. But there was Noah, God saw that he was honorable, honest and righteous. He saw Noah worthy of living, he was the good of everything that was evil on earth. God told him to build a ship because he was going to flood the earth and make a clean sweep of everything in it (Genesis 7). God gave Noah an assignment and he did it. So when God flooded the earth everything evil, not pure in heart and spirit was dead; Noah, his family and the animals chosen by God lived.
When God calls you, the same assignment he gave Noah He gives you. The way you used to live was in sin, confusion, addiction, hate, no direction...but God saw something greater, He sees you as righteous, wonderfully made! All you need to do is follow His direction, make that clean sweep of your life. Let the flood come through your life and remove everything un-pleasing in Gods sight (by the blood of Jesus Christ, wash it away). How? You know right from wrong, good from bad. You have direction from the living word of God (Bible), the model of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit witch lives in you. Drown the old ways of your life and walk in the ways the Lord has set for you. It's not too late, it's not impossible, your not too far gone. God is the doer of impossible things, come to the Lord and flood your life.
