Covenant is a serious thing and very powerful! we have various covenants within our lives!
Method of cutting covenants very important!
- Two people would get together and then have a witness and give each other gifts!
- then they would make an incision and take cup of wine and pour each others blood in it and stir it.
- they would then drink it and would seal the covenant! this covenant then cannot be broken!
+ Out of the covenant we have with Jesus it is a protection through Jesus blood!
+ We have authority through ouir covenant with Jesus!
1. Gen 9; God made a covenant with Noah!
2. Heb 11:24; God made a covenant with Moses! (Passover meal = Communion today!)
Thank God we under the blood covenant of Jesus Christ!
3. We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus and not by early things!
THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!
