The Who's Who of Servants
There is a need in all of us to be awarded. I don't care if you say so or not - it always feels good to be recognized. These verses, originally intended for real, true slaves, has long been used to talk about employee relationships... but actually beyond that, it is simply a statement that in this world, we are not important. Period.
It does not matter our accomplishments, or how we advance this world - it's still not our world, it's God's. And as His creation, He deserves all the credit for our achievements. Period. And we should give it to Him. Period.
