The life of a tree.
A seed is dropped into fertile soil. Water and nutrients feed into it. As it sprouts leafs the sun beams down on it all day. Its weeds are pulled and thrown away.
The tree is well feed and cared for.
Fruit begins to form on it's branches. It says to all patient observers, "this is why I was made, this is why such care and love go into me. To bear fruit."
The tree can not run to rich soil or gather their own water. They can not pull their weeds.
Believers, followers of Christ are the same.
Everyday is a walk of faith. Walking obediently with God our makers and savior.
He alone builds us and cares for us. Filling are days with what is good for us. Exposing the sin that seeks to attack our roots and eat away at our lives.
The goal of our faith is to bear much fruit, to bring honor and glory to our God.
Daily, moment by moment living in Him, remaining open to His perfect will and responding in obedience, He gives us life.
