Worry is my lack of trust

Dear Father,

Thank you for providing beyond my needs. You have never failed to provide for me in abundance. You bless my richly, so why do I worry? You've proven yourself over and over, yet I continue to try to plan out my life. How foolish!

Lord, please help me to trust you completely. Help me to remember your faithfulness. You have never once forsaken me. I worry about things that moth and rust will destroy, while you have much bigger plans for me. Make me into a Godly man. Help me to give less and less regard to the things of this world. Help me to find my treasure in you.

Father, please forgive me for my lack of trust. Please challenge me to grow in trust and have patience with me. I love you and want to please you. I want to trust you fully.

You are my king and I want my life to bring you glory. I love you, Father. Always. -mds
