psalms 99:8 / God Forgives While Holding Us Accountable
God's continued grace for our sins is amazing, especially for those who are believers. Regardless of our sins, His willingness to forgive us if we repent is remarkable. What would we have done if it wasn't for Christ sacrificing his life for our sins.
What's even more glaring in this scripture is that though God forgives us for our sin, he still holds us accountable. There is a price to be paid. It's critically important we learn from our mistakes, and know there is a price to be paid for those sins.
In my daily walk, I'll continue to be conscious of my sins, repent, and learn from my mistakes (knowing there is a price to be paid).
I'll learn from God's patience and grace to forgive, and attempt to share the same with those who sin against me.
