The Power of Spiritual Sacrifice-Introduction pt II
The flesh has to do with man with the opposition that we have to do right.
Your flesh does not want you to sacrifice for the better.
As spirt-filled believers, we must put our flesh under control. This requires spiritual sacrifice.
The flesh is in war with your spirit. It will oppose all that is good and right.
Regardless of what we do in the church, NO ONE IS IMMUNE FROM SIN!!!
The nature of God that is in us gives us a sense of what is right and what is wrong.
Sin will take you further than where you want to go and make you pay what you don't want to pay.
There is NO right way to do wrong. Wrong is not something that can be justified.
Flesh wants to see how far it can go before you get caught. You cannot play with your flesh. You must crucify your flesh [daily]. Control your flesh and bring it under subjection.
We must be mindful of our flesh and sacrifice daily.
When you are ready to do good, trouble is always right there.
Everything begins in your imagination. There is a war going on in your mind.
We are truly messed up. What can make us clean? NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!
Sin is operation of the flesh for the spirit does not know sin.
The flesh will fight you in three places in the church
-Fasting
-Praying
-Giving
