Hope in troubling times
I always come back to this verse to remind me there is hope in times of trouble. The Christian life is not one filled only with blessings. Jesus has given us the power to overcome and make it through life's troubles. HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD!!
Also, He has given us the power to withstand temptation. We must be open to and look for that way out that He provides. Do NOT ignore that small voice telling you not to give in to the temptation. That small voice is the Holy Spirit providing the way out. Acknowledge Him and ask for HIS help. He will rescue you.
