Rebuking the Wind
What an amazing display of power by Jesus, creator of the world! This was the first time Jesus displayed his power over the elements of wind and water. Of course, we understand that this is just the tip of the iceberg for Jesus but imagine if you were in the boat with him at that time and watched what took place. Yes, fear, shock and awe would also be my reaction, so don't jump on the disciples back about being clueless yet! This is just another evidence of Jesus Christ being God who alone is able to have power over the elements.
