What kind of harvest do you want. Every seed produces after its own kind. We have to look at what harvest we want. If you want apples to grow in your back yard, what kind of seed will you plant? Orange seed or maybe grape seed? No, you would plant apple seed.
Lets say you need a new car. What seed would you sow? New house seed, or maybe new job seed? No you call your offering new car seed. Sow it into good ground, and what type of harvest do you get? You get a new car harvest. Remember that the tithe is not an offering. The money you give above your 10% tithe is the offering. Sowing seed is not just money but your attitude and gratitude that is sow into others or even your job and your environment.
We do not sow the seed to receive things, but we still have to understand the principal that God has set before us. We never want to get into the mind set of you give to get. Some times seed that is sown does not come into harvest for years and years. Build up patience as it states in 2 Peter 3-11. 2 Corinthians 9:6-14 tells us perfectly of the sow and reap principal. In the same way we believe that we receive what we ask for, so we should believe that the harvest is from what seed we planted. Galatians 6:7-10 NKJV
