Cornelius's expectations

Cornelius was expecting God to work in this situation as shown in the fact that he was waiting for them to return with Peter. He doesn't question whether or not there is a guy named Peter or if he will be coming. Instead he is "expecting" them to come, and even went so far at to invite friend and relatives over to witness the event when it happened.
