We're always having to take the time to bury something aren't we!

Let's see, I should really bury my pain...
Pain? Pain is hard enough to deal with much less let others see.

Suffering? Suffering is not a pretty sight. This has got to go under ground,

Fear? Who wants to be the cowardly lion! Bury this one deep!

Rejection? It's humiliating to feel rejection,
No one likes others to see that humiliation.
Stuff it away.

Money? Why would we we bury money? In case the stock market drops? The banks fail? Who are we trusting anyhow?

Shame? Well it's obvious we bury our shame----because we're ashamed!

We bury emotions. They won't stay down forever. They surface at the most inconvenient times.

We bury our heads in the sand because we can't face the truth. The TRUTH would set us free!

We have to stop digging our graves and start living our lives. Jesus says let the dead bury their dead. But the living.... Well we need to start really living. We need to follow Jesus!
