True Obedience
When most of us read this passage, the first question that comes to mind is: why would God ask somebody to kill their son? But the truth of the matter is, no matter what God asks us to do, we should be open and willing to do it. Abraham didn't ask God any questions about why he should kill his own son, rather, he got up early the next morning and did exactly as God command him to. As it turns out in the end, God didn't really want Abraham to kill his son; he wanted to test Abraham's obedience. The lesson from this whole story is to trust God with all your heart and do exactly as He asks and in the end everything will be fulfilled for His purpose.
