God's Way of No Way

Naamam sought healing from God, yet when God (through Elisha) gave him the prescription, he initially turned his nose up at it.
This made me think of my own life. How often do I seek something from the Lord, yet when God is clear on how to accomplish this in my life, I seek another way, or am unwilling to do it.
- "I want a better marriage, yet I do not want to...."
- " I want a deeper walk with Christ, yet I do not want to..."
- " I want a more free financial situation, yet I do not want to live by a strict budget."
-" I want deeper interpersonal relationships, but do not want to invest in, and serve others."

In the end I must be willing to follow God's protocol. If I want to see God do great things, I must be willing to do things God's way.
