God doesn't want you to pray just to hear yourself or to impress other people. God love the prayers where you're face down humbled in His presence. We are sinners and unworthy of a God that is so good to us.It is better be humble and be exalted than to exalt yourself and be humbled.

humbleness is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less.
