The Spirit of God & the waters
A question? What waters in vs. 2 was the Spirit of God moving upon? Is it the same waters as in vs. 6 or could it be something different. Dr. D. Russell Humphreys in his book "Starlight and Time", proposes that the water in question may have been a 1 lightyear diameter ball of water, created by God. In the moment following its creation, the ball would collapse in on itself and implode creating enough matter to account for everything in the known universe. The book is a fascinating theory that bears consideration.
