Partnership

The first time that Moses climbed Mount Sinai, the Lord gave him tablets to carry down to the Israelites. The second time, after the people had turned away, Moses had to carry up stone tablets that he had cut himself... and then climb the mountain to God. He had to participate in the covenant this time, and it was not easy.
