The Power of a child
It's easy to see children as powerless, to resonate with the teaching of Jesus, when he asks us to become like a child, like a babe, to be born again and consider yourself once again powerless to all who are 'bigger people', to the one who is the biggest of them all. But here we see the power of a child. The innocence of youth allows the events that shaped this kingship, which was so successful in God's eyes. The revolutionary way a child can adapt a role which the previous two holders had so marred with sin, into a role that recognised God's greatness and the value of the teaching he has given us.
