Ehud

I really am encouraged every time I read through Ehud's story. Here you have a man from the smallest tribe in Israel, who is left-handed (not a good thing) and yet God uses him to free all of Israel! We sit today moaning and complaining about how we have so little to offer, how could God use us? How can God do this mighty miracle of providing us with the food and shelter we need? How can I really have any impact on the people around me?

But God knows better. He used the most unlikely hero around to save a nation. How much more can He do with our (typically) smaller problems and concerns?
