A high view of God is a proper view of yourself. You see that God is bigger than everything; you, your problems and your pain. And because you see God as He is, you see how small you are, how imperfect you are and how much of a sinner you are. Because of that, you do not judge others. You don't blame them and you don't mind their criticism because you're more focused on the grace that God gave you. You become humble and you'd want to become more intimate with God. People who doesn't know God easily gets affected with criticism because they are focused on themselves. Now, people who are intimate with God serves Him. And the more humbled you are, the more you'd want to serve. People who are intimate with God sees what pleases Him and what doesn't. Showing love and compassion is easy for those who have received Him. It's also easy to forgive knowing God has forgiven you from your past transgressions.
