What can man do for me?
Has someone ever offered you their help, expertise or advise? Before you accepted or denied it, did you think of where it really can from? In the end who received the credit or blame, depending on the outcome.
As Paul reminds us in Hebrews 15:5b-6a Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. Our Father gave us Christ and Christ gave us the counselor or Holy Spirit that is always with us looking out for us. "So we can confidently say, 'The Lord is my helper"
If we always have God in all of His glory by our side shouldn't we look for His work in ourself and others at all times. Shouldn't we give him credit even for the small things like someone assisting us. What if showing our gratitude for God placing someone in our lives actually brought that person closer to God?
What if the Holy Spirit put you in that place so you could love on that person or give your testimony of how Christ changed your life. It is a challenge I am charged with and unfortunately have missed many opportunities, but have succeeded in many others. I only hope this can help you not miss out on yours.
Stay thirsty, always seek His refreshing waters.
