Life is Short

How often we forget that we are just passing through, on our way, to our final home in heaven. I think I forget that life is short, and I know for certain that I am not always wise. This verse reminds me that we should ask God to "teach us" and to "show us" how each day is a precious gift from Him. Each moment we are on earth is a gift from Him, are we being wise with that gift?
