Don't let others false teachings persuade you away from the word of God
With So much going on in the world today it is hard for us to sometimes not get caught by the shades of gray in our lives. Sometimes we follow those who say they love God and say they believe in the teachings of Jesus, yet their actions show otherwise. I myself have fallen victim of becoming a "whitewashed tomb" in which I put up a front, saying I know God, but then not trusting him with certain aspects of my life, thinking that I can make it on my own, or will things to happen. These teachings show me that even some of our "teachers" are some way the same. It's a part that makes us all human. God can affect you, but you have to let him affect you to the core. My prayer is that we do not allow ourselves to put up a biblical front. That I myself do not throw away the words and the teachings of God. That I allow God to teach and to change me on a day to day basis, by reading his word, praying for answers and clarification, and trusting in him more so then false prophets. For the leather on the Bible holds more weight then skin.
