Intro:
We saw Jesus. He is the word of life

He is the One who is eternal life

We proclaim to you what we have actually seen and heard

JESUS IS LIFE

We are writing these things so you may fully share our joy

GOD IS LIGHT

We can't say that we are good with God "living in the light" if we are "living in spiritual darkness"

What is spiritual darkness?

Being far from God
Being in sin
Being depressed

Want to be good and happy with God and have a joyous life? Live in the light

What is the Light? God

What is Living in the Light?

Living in a way that pleases God...living according to God...Living according to His Word

But we're lying to ourselves if we think we can just live without sinning.

The Key is confession for forgiveness of sins.

How can I apply this?
Be aware dark areas and stay away from them.
