Sometimes, it seems easiest to do something that has worked for God's glory in the past. However, if God himself is telling you to do something new, it will be better than the past. Listen to God. Don't assume you have the answers already.

Moses believed that hitting the rock would work like it did in the past... and it did. BUT God would have received more glory from the miracle of simply speaking to the rock. He and his ministry partners suffered the consequences of inattentive ears and disobedience.
