discounting the proof
This verse is significant, but often dismissed or skipped in my own reading. The fact that the writing of these scriptures are from eye witnesses of the life of Jesus and the early days of those following him. For every bad illustration, and twisting of scripture we've seen pastors, bloggers and authors make - it is comforting to know that the story if Jesus was documented and confirmed by hundreds of eye witnesses during his day.
