be exalted
Revelation 4:11 NLT
11 "You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased."
There is no one like our God. The revelation of Jesus is something i long to grow in everyday. I want to know Him more and more.
Lately a phrase from a song has been reverberating within me. The phrase is "be thou exalted." I cannot seem to escape the anthem. Off the top of my head i could not give the dictionary definition of the word 'exalted'. But it seems to carry a connotation of an action on my part that is both indirect and direct. It would be direct when I consciously speak highly of and worship my King. It would be indirect when my actions produce a reflection or create a byproduct that would exalt Him. Exalting the Lord is placing Him high above all else. He becomes the object of my worship, the goal my eyes are upon, the source of strength i look up to.
I will exalt my Lord.
