This is remarkable. The God of the Universe heard their cries to Him, He remembered His promises, He looked upon them, and perhaps most amazing of all, he acknowledges (or "took notice of") them (Heb. yada, to know - Strong's 3045). God values them and knows what they are going through. And we have the same God today!
