His Blood

What a contrast here between Christ-followers and non-Christ-followers. Here the Jews are assuming the responsibility of crucifying a seemingly un-convicted man by asking for his blood to be on them and their children. But as followers we ask to be forgiven by this same blood but as our sacrifice. If only everyone could accept salvation rather than blame within their daily lives.
