Day to day our faith is challenged and tested.

Our position and practice are often out of sync.

The first issue Paul addresses quarrels and divisions due to their lack of spiritual immaturity.

➞ The issue - QUARRELS and DIVISION 1:10, 3:3
● Usually the issues are silly, but causing severe division
➞ The challenge - Spiritual IMMATURITY 3:1-4
● Can people look at our life and see that we may be spiritually bankrupt?
● It's time for us to grow up.
● Most of our quarrels and divisions are because of our lack of spiritual maturity.
➞ The solution - REFOCUS on God 3:7
● Only God can make us grow.
● If we keep our focus on Jesus our quarrels and division will go away.
➞ The lesson - Consider each other's VALUE 3:10
● Our only legitimate claim is that we belong to God.
● We (I) have no right to quarrel with what belongs to God.

We need to get our practice and position in sync and live more Christ-like.
