Poor in spirit - poor does not mean poverty, but spiritual condition. When we realize that we are away from God. Do you have a right relationship with God? Jesus says I died for that.
mourn - when we see ourselves as poor in spirit we mourn. This leads us to repentance. Comfort is God's promise. God wants you to see his amazing grace.
meek - God takes us to being meek before him. God's kindness leads us to repentance. Yielding our will to God and allow him to be Lord of your life. Jesus says follow me, things will be different. The inside will change. Have things changed on the inside?
