Do you have the passion

I am preparing a message on passion and the passage of Mark 10:46-52 contains an amazing example of passion.
We see the story of the beggar who calls out to Jesus. He has spent his life blind and tossed aside by his family. A family that believed that his blindness was a curse from God for something they did.
He spent his days begging outside the gates.
This day Jesus came to pass by and he called out, repeatedly to Jesus despite others telling him to stop.
It was his passion and faith in Christ that healed him. He could have sat there and ignored Jesus, feeling sorry for himself, feeling that God doesn't care about him.
But this day he had the passion, the desire to connect to Jesus and because of that Christ called him over and healing him, why? it wasn't because of his sympathy for him, it was because Christ recognized his faith and passion.
