The Old Man

Do I really have to give up every sin that defined my old way of life? Isn't it good enough to just give up most of the old self, since no one expects me to be perfect anyway? What's wrong with keeping just a little bit of that old way, as long as I give most of my life to God? If you can't remember why, look up Romans 8:13,14
