god is good to Jacob even tho he makes so many wrong choices.. he steals his brother's birthright & blessing.. then runs away in fear & then God blessed him!! a lil strange.. esau heard that his father disliked the canaanites so much & then went & married one?? to add to his wives.. shows a lil of where his heart was.. had past issues he had not dealt with cos of favouritism to jacob..
