son or daughter is the highest calling as a Christ follower
I am learning that everyone has had or do have currently a father, but not everyone has a daddy. I love this term "abba" which in the hebrew is an intimate term for father. Some would say "daddy." The place where we as Christ followers are trying to get to is to truly be a son or daughter of our Father, or Daddy. This is the highest calling and place we can be.
