I gave them over to worthless decrees and regulations that would not lead to life. (Ezekiel 20:25 NLT)
God desires that I follow, love and obey Him. But he gives me what I desire. If I don't take His opportunities to change, to know that He is God, to be corrected and live life following Gods decreed and regulations, He will let me go with what I'm chasing. A worthless life that leads to death.
How often do I ask or beg for something over and over, chasing something that God is saying no or not yet to? My focus becomes so set on something other than God, and if I don't refocus, he will let me go to it.
Lord, help me to recognize what I'm chasing. I want to be chasing you, and following your life style. Teach me when to stop and what to let go of. I want to stay in tune with you. I love you Lord, amen.
