For this particular passage I just thought that the use of the word endures was interesting. According to Biblos.com the word translated into endures in the HCSB or translated into remains in the NIV literally means “a going round”.
So in Caleb Keller’s translation, so long as the earth is spinning life will go on. It’s a comforting thought amidst all the other events of the time. I’m going to keep on keeping on right up until the day my savior returns to earth or takes me up into heaven!
