Jesus respects personal choice
Jesus doesn’t perform any miracles (healing sick people is not considered a miracle; interesting, huh?!) because of their lack of faith. I see here two realities intersecting. One is God’s plan to redeem people, to draw them back to Himself active in the person of Jesus (miracles were a part of this grand plan). To add urgency to it there is a small window of opportunity (about 3 years). The other is people in deep need of redemption whose only hope is God, with their choices. In this case these people choose not to believe in Jesus and Jesus accepts that and respectfully but sadly doesn’t force His plan on them, He doesn’t perform miracles.
If you are not open to God, if you don’t want to allow Him in your life YOU WILL MISS GOD. God will not force His way into your life. Now that doesn’t mean He will give up in pursuing you, but He will do that respecting your decision, like a gentleman. You do have a critical role in your own redemption. Be aware of that. God will only do as much as you allow Him to.
