NIV says Circumcise your hearts. What does that mean? The Israeli were circumcise to be set apart as God's people. But this version says: "cut away the thick calluses from your hear". From the NIV version I would assume it was telling us to set our hearts apart to the Lord. From this version I can assume that we need to soften our heart to God's will and not ours.
