Where I get my name
This is the Bible verse that partially inspired my mother to name me Querida, which translates from Spanish to English as Beloved. She said she would be saying all that (verse 17) with just my name. I really liked that. Supposedly we are Spanish by decent and she wanted me to hold onto some of that heritage. Supposedly she got the name from a previous roommate who was also Spanish. She is no longer living so I have to go on the stories I was told as a youth. For those of you who wonder how to pronounce it, here goes my attempt to sound it out phonetically....Que = ke (with the short e sound), like in que paso? ri = rrrrreeee, (rolled r sound and long e sound), da = the, as in "the end" (with a tha instead of the).
