The culmination of Christianity

As Paul described in 1 Corinthians 2:2 "For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 1 Cor 2:2 (HCSB)" The resurrection stands as a culmination of history past and present; we are defined by the event of the resurrection. How we deal with the resurrection becomes a central belief point in our lives.

As we celebrate the resurrection we find ourselves united with Christ followers throughout the ages. It is one of the central points of community in Christian theology across denominations, networks, and generations. When we so often see how much divides us from others we are obligated to take a step back and realize the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the great unifier between us and others in our conversations and community.

How great of an event we have to participate in and celebrate amongst us is the culmination of God's wondrous plan in our lives.
