Limited vision

When Naaman learned about a prophet who could heal him, he and the king saw only one means to securing the treatment... he had to buy it.

The king obviously wanted Naaman to be healed, so he sent Naaman to Israel with an incredible amount of riches.

But neither Naaman nor the king knew the free gift that is available to us all.

Similar to the crippled man laying near the pool of Bethesda. Jesus asked the man, "Do you want to get well?"

The man answered, (John 5:7) "Sir," the invalid replied, "I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me."

Crippled by limited vision, he could not see the great Physician that was standing in front of him.
