See also Galatians 6:1-2, when helping someone out of sin it is important to do in love and gently so not to do more damage as the person is caught in Satan's web. Harsh treatment will only serve to drive a wedge between that person and Jesus Christ.

Satan is also waiting to trap us in sin as well as we act as First Responders similar to the terrorist tactic of using TWO car bombs. The first bomb attracts the intended targets of the second bomb, First Responders and rescuers. That's where the real damage is done to a society's sense of well-being. The same is true for sin. Beware of the sin of gossip.
